the weird shit goes by, and we all learn to accept that the galaxy is way weirder than we ever imagined.
of course, it’s hard. change sucks, even when it’s for the better.
no one could have known that then, however.
Weird doesn’t have to imply malice: we already overthrew the most dastardly pricks anywhere or when, and we did it – not with a bullet – but a hug.
we evolved, they didn’t.
they ceased to exist, we didn’t.
the world moved on, forward, and together. without having the bug up its collective ass of having to struggle just to survive, clawing at each other for scraps was no longer even a faint consideration.
fuck someone over for money? why would you harm another person, a real person -intententionally – to HOPE to gain an imaginary quantity?
