of course, we were fucked up.
we were born into slavery and deluded and deceived into thinking we did it to ourselves by being born sinful. yikes. talk about failing a test you didn’t prepare for.
but some say we did.
that we signed up for the suicide mission.
and what a mission it was
the 3d world is, and always has been, a wonderful marvel of creation.
Unfortunately, the ending was just as absurd as its premise: the big bad rotten scoundrel hides out in a theme park and uses a less evolved species as a hostage.
so trite as to be considered ridiculous.
but imagine it another way: you’ve fought down to the last lizard standing, and the only place left to hide is on a fucking Mobius strip. Would you do it?
of course.
what’s a Mobius strip? a two-dimensional, flat piece of paper twisted and joined at the end. this forms what appears to the ant walking on it: an endless vista of potential in front and behind. assuming this and can’t jump or fall off, they appear to the observer to be both above and beneath the Mobius strip. but this is an illusion because it’s just a twisted, kinked paper. and so it was with the reptilian people who brought their wrath and desperation down on us that our myriad forms of ancestors had brought upon us. they couldn’t evolve along with their own universe, so they hid in ours, using the last surviving enemies as walking blood transfusions.
